What did I want from this novel? I wanted. . .peace for the characters, first and foremost. I wanted there to be hope for them, no matter what losses or sadnesses occurred. The very worst thing about this book is that you don’t get to see enough of the science-y stuff that Cole does. :-(

The very best thing about this book is the end. I absolutely loved the way it ended. In fact, I almost considered this as sci-fi as well because of how Cole is looking for a cure, but I didn’t feel it really went far enough into the science of the possible cure. Still, the cop was a surprise for me as was how much I enjoyed the ending. It is rare that I rate a book further along in a series higher than a previous book…
