Harry Potter 2011 Book Challenge

I won’t lie, I didn’t keep to the schedule.  I got caught up in reading and finished a little early, but never got around to the reviews or the wrap-up.  So, I’m doing that now!

Naturally, the Harry Potter books are always fantastic!  And while “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” weren’t specifically included in the challenge, I reread that book, too, and dropped it in with my reviews.  I love those stories.  Mrs. Rowling is a master of her art.  ^_^

“Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” by J. K. Rowling
“Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” by J. K. Rowling
“Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” by J. K. Rowling
“Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” by J. K. Rowling
“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” by J. K. Rowling
“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” by J. K. Rowling
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” by J. K. Rowling
“The Tales of Beedle the Bard” by J. K. Rowling

I can’t imagine that I would participate in another challenge for Harry Potter because I wasn’t too fond of the schedule, but I’m quite sure that I’ll be rereading these books next year.  And the year after that.  And the year after that.  And probably every year until I die…  I’m sure by the time I kick the bucket I’ll be spending large quantities of time quoting Harry Potter as though it was scripture.

And ye Dumbledore said unto him, “My word, Severus, that I shall never reveal the best of you.”

Is it sad that skimming through the section of Snape’s thoughts checking the exact wording of that quote made me cry?
