This challenge excited me. I had been meaning to reread the Lord of the Rings books and I had a new book from Tolkien that I had been planning to read and this challenge covered both of those goals. Unfortunately, while I did read the trilogy, I never got around to reading “The Legend of Sigurd & Gudrún.”

I’ve been putting the “failed” stamp on all the challenges that I didn’t finish. At some point this year, I will get around to reading “The Legend of Sigurd & Gudrún” because I have too many books that I own and haven’t read. At least that one is one I’m almost sure to enjoy – based on the author, anyway! ^_^
