Project two, parts A and B are complete!
Well, mostly. My mom has the swimming pool with 12 of the baby box turtles and she will need to add a few more safety rocks around the rim of the yellow water dish and some plants for them to conceal in, but for now they're safe and protected. You can see some of the "fence" (note: it's actually a baby cage) that's around their pool to keep my mom's dog from getting too curious so once they get their plants they'll be in baby turtle heaven!
My three cuties are all set. I added their first plant after taking the picture. I actually really love clovers, so I uprooted some from the yard and planted it on the side away from their food and water bowls. You can see that I actually have a second "water bowl" which is in use as a mini-wading pool. My two hatchlings can both fit in the wading pool with a bit of room to spare. You can actually see that one just had just gotten out in this picture while the other is about to climb out. :-) They're so cute! My damaged baby is over by the food dish seeing what's up.
By the way, I need names! I am almost definitely naming the damaged turtle Beaker because he's missing the top portion of his beak, but I don't even have any ideas about the two hatchlings!!! Fred and George, maybe? These are almost definitely from the same clutch, therefore they are twins and need twin-ish names! :-p
