I say I’m going to start posting more often, and then I disappear again after remodeling my lovely site.
I have been posting reviews. Not nearly as many as before, but I’ve been posting them on Amazon and goodreads and Google+ instead of here, too.
I’m also a bit ashamed to say that I haven’t been reading as much as I would like. I adore reading, I do, but it seems like every time I turn around there’s something else I need to do. I’ve been watching more shows and movies because, often, I can have background noise while doing whatever, but reading requires my attention. Regardless, that’s changing.
And for those of you imaginary people who may not follow me on Google+ (or some other social site that catches the fall off from G+), I’ve gotten into quilting thanks to Fandom in Stitches and SewHooked. I’ve been working on a Harry Potter quilt called the Project of Doom. It, too, has fallen by the wayside the past few weeks. You can see all the blocks I have completed here, though, on flickr.
I was in a wreck that totaled my Neon. I’m devastated by the loss of my most reliable vehicle yet, but I’m pretty thrilled that my new vehicle is so incredible! I’m getting a 2011 Dodge Durango and it’s so loaded with features that I’m sure I’ll spend about three hours just sitting in the truck with the manual trying to figure it all out. I got a really good deal on it from my dad’s employer because they though there were transmission issues. Well, it’s been at the shop for a week and they haven’t found any transmission issues, just some bad hoses with the power steering and that’s much cheaper to fix than the transmission stuff. Even with the cost of transmission repairs, I was getting an incredible deal. Without those expenses, my Durango just became my best purchase ever!
Alright, I’m off to do things and attempt to read so that I can remember to post reviews here and get my reading challenges updated, sort of. I mostly only intend to keep track of the GoodReads one because it keeps track of itself. Maybe 2016 will bring about new challenges that I’ll work to keep up with. :-D
